Gainesville Ala, Feby 22nd 1866. Grobler, A. Lt. & A.A.Q.M. Asks information in regard to enclosed affidavit, relative to two mules which he seized from Mr B. F. White, branded C.S. in compliance with Gen Order No 77, Q.M. Genl's Office. (One enclosure) Rec'd C.Q.M.O Feby 26th. 66. C.Q.M. Office D of A. Mobile Feby 26th. 66. Respectfully submitted to the Maj. Gen'l. Commd'g for his orders. I recommend that the mules in question, be transferred to such Officer of the Freedmens Bureau, as may be designated, by the Asst Com. for the state of Ala, with all papers in the case, and claimant notified to present his claim to that Bureau.
