A petition is about to be gotten up at Huntsville Alabama, to have the present efficient Agent of the Freedmen's Bureau Col: J. B. Callis removed from office and a certain Lieut. Medler put in his place.  This is the same officer who gave a decision against me last Octber by which I lost the entire crop raised upon my land, and partly by my own hired labor. Maj. Goodfellow the chief of the Bureau there had decided the case in my favor, but afterwards Lieut. Medler through bribery I am informed, reversed the decision and the crop was given to my Rebel neighbors.  I have since applied
