I have the honor to inform you that I have received from Maj Elderkin C.S. Mobile Ala, Nineteen Hundred & Sixty Sacks of Corn, and Nine casks of Bacon [[strikethrough]] as [[/strikethrough]] by order of General Swayne. Having been purchased for the Destitutes of Alabama I have receipted for the amount, and respectfully ask instructions as to the disposal to be made of Said Stores.
