Yesterday I shipped 1380 sacks corn and 7 casks bacon to Eufaula by way of Apalachicola, Fla I have through B/Ls signed for this shipment: - All the corn & bacon for Decatur, Huntsville & Tuscumbia left Saturday evening (10th Inst.) on "W.R. Arthur" via Memphis. - I sent 9 casks bacon remaining to you at Mobile yesterday - Are you likely to want more provisions soon - Please let me hear from you - We hope to see you soon here - Your family were well last evening - Yours very truly F W.
