his action on the day of sale to secure the horse so that the Lady could get him if he should be so inclind by your prevented her agents from bidding for the horse as tha say to me and the lady disires that her horse should be returned to her and not the price for which he was sold at sale first or last but she desires the horse for the use of the same on her farm is needed now the horse is hear an will be kept hear for seven or eight days yet for your direction if the papers should be with held from you wrongfully as I from tha an I can get you such copys of them as will be satisfactory no doubt your dicision but would ask that and order should claiming the horse in the hands of some authority until you can hear the mater fully should be in forsed and the horse kept by Capt Ganderer of the freedmens bureau to whom I defer for proof of all the above
