Sir I have received your order in relation to the trial of Jenkins et al and referred the same to  Major General Wood. He is willing to try this case - but I find neither the chargers nor witnesses against him or them.   These men have now been kept in durance for nearly two months & something should be done for their relief.  The prosecutor or informer in this matter, seems to have lost all interest in prosecuting the case & I believe as declared his determinations not appear. What can we do? I believe his prosecution of the parties to be the result of malice
