Colonel,
I have the honor to state, that I have had an interview with Mr. Abrams, and the owners of the Land, to which the Building at present occupied by Troops, and my Office belongs, and the result is, that the Company owning the Property will [[strikethrough]] all [[/strikethrough]] allow Mr. Abrams to purchase my Office, but not the Barracks, they allow him the ground of this Office, but distinctly state, that should he attempt to purchase the other building, they will make him remove both, thereby rendering the purchase useful only as lumber, and greatly enhancing its value.  Mr. Abrams offers $500 for my Office, and I am to remain in it, or he will find quarters equally as good.

The other building, I am certain can be easily disposed of, for $2000 to any party who can arrange about the ground rent.  Mr. Abrams desires me to
