I would respectfully request permition to visit Montgomery Ala. on the 11th Inst. for the purpos of confering with Col C. Cadle AAGenl and Chief of Staff, if this should meet your approbation. Will you be so kind as to send to me by mail transportation to & from this place to Montgomery.
