by the Bureau, I recommend that it be kept out of the control of a heartless class of men such as would eventualy assume charge of it were it placed at the disposal of the County Commissioners. It has been impossible for this town to supply its convicts with food at all times, the County house is not used for charitable purposes, if your better judgement decides not to place the Colony in the possession of the County Commissioners. I would recommend that it be moved so as to be convenient to this place for it is quite frequent that I meet with persons that I wish to send there for a short time, also it will enable me to send to School the children of said Colony.
