I have the honor to report that I have given transportation order No 47.to Lovina Nash, a colored refugee - ordering transportation for herself and six children from Selma Ala. to Atlanta, Georgia.
This woman is unable to support herself and family and is anxious get to Virginia where she has friends who will support her.

I have also disposed of order No. 48 giving to this freedwoman Mary and four others - ordering transportation for them from Selma, Ala to Atlanta, Ga.

These women are partially dependent on the Government here, but have a chance when they will be permanently employed at good wages is in North Carolina.
