Doct. Jines claims above family, upon the ground that he made a contract with Levin for himself & Family about the middle of January last which Contract was approved by Thos. Pullium Agent Freedmen's Bureau at this place. That Levin made a contract with said Jines & "went to" "the Ridge" for his clothes and did not return, and when found "at work" was at Mr Jefferson Herren's.
