when Mr Raborn was good ways off he picked up a chunk, which he soon threw down, and then opened his knife (but did not hear him say anything about using the knife) and right away put the knife in his pocket.  He then spit Amber in her face 3 or 4 times, she then put her hand up before Mr Rabons mouth and told him to stop spitting in her face.  She then went on towards the Bars, while going along he hit her in the eye with his open hand, she then grabbed him by the Collar and held on to him, and called Mary (her Daughter) to help her, Mr Raborn told her to let him go and had both hands on her Neck, she then let him go. He did not hit her while she had him by the collar.  She then went to Union Springs and sat on the Street awhile and then went to Mr Charley Greene, Brother to Doctor Greene (who was, in the Doctor's absence, attending to his business) who wrote a paper and gave her to carry back.  She told Greene, that when her Children did wrong Mr Raborn ought to report them to her and she would correct them. She says she never said a word to Mr Hasky about the matter nor anyone else in Town, and did not know that anyone else had done so, she never authorized anyone else to do so. She had nothing to do with the writing of this letter and never heard of any letter having been written until she got an order to
