As you have not visited Demopolis yet, I have concluded you have turned back from Tuscaloosa, which I regret, as there is several matters that I think could be better arranged if you were here.  Could you come over next week.  If not, please give instructions in writing whether to use the Govt Hospital buildings (at the Academy) for the purpose of constructing the colored school house.  Your early attention to this last matter will expedite the erection of the school house.
