Now, my dear Sir, I have to a great extent occupied to Mr Robb the position of friendly legal adviser & I am quite familiar with the details of his office & it affords pleasure to commend to you his scrupulous honesty & faithful discharge of official duties under the most trying circumstances & of this I feel assured that your official supervision of his actions affords abundant proof - What I wish to suggest & ask is this - that, if consistant with your own duties that up to this date Mr R be required to make out the necessary vouchers for private moneys paid out & that
