I am very anxious to receive definite instructions in regard to Leasing a place for the Asylum for 1867.  We have to give up the one we have by the first of January.  I have taken great pains to procure a place nearer town and also more suitable than the one we are now using, which is twelve miles from Demopolis, and in Winter the roads in this section are almost impassable.  The Asylum should in my opinion be located where it could be visited very often by the Supt.
