Dear sir 
Have just been notified that the amt of Rations for July will be two fifths less than the amt authorized to be furnished for the present month. 
 The number of the indigent in the county who are intitled to Rations under existing regulations sum up as follows

Amt recd for present month 9750 
Reduced two fifths will only give 5850 Rations. I am finding or rather founding Rations to parts of families that the Rations furnish to part feed, the entire  family was this not the case they might live on half Rations. You see from the large  proportion of children to number of women That the children are fed and
