be issued a copy may be sent to me as above directed,— I would further be pleased to know, whether in case a laborer proceeded against under an affidavit made by the Employer, under general Order No 12, dated Aug 30th 1865, can be compelled to work on a farm, in the absence of any means to compel them to work on the road by the county, or may be forced back to labor again for the Employer. I would further be pleased to have any general instructions that justice may be done between the freedman themselves & between them & their Employers, and whether my orders can be carried out by the military or must they be performed by a civil officer.

And further I would pleased to learn whether we are entitled to any compensation for services rendered or that may be rendered, and if so, what that compensation is, & when & to whom application shall be made for the same in what form
Yours Most Respectfully
