This case came on to be heard this day and the facts was as folows - Pltff filed their application on said court to revoke the indentures of apprenticeship entered into between the Hon B.W. Stark Judge of Probate of Coffee County, and the Deft Amanda Collins of said County on  ___ day of Dec 1866 as apprentices two children of Almedia [[Almeda]] Dismuke, to Wit Hennie a girl 14 year & Viola aged Eight years.
There being no witnesses present for Pltff her Atty moved for a continuance of the cause - stating what he expected to prove by Thomas & James Boutwell if present to wit that "the parents of said apprenticed children were able to support them. The Defdt counsel admitted that if the Boutwells were present that they would swear that they were able to support the children - And the trial was gone into - Defendt then introduced Rev. Wm Dismuke who stated upon oath - That he was the former owner of both the parents & children in question - That he knew that said parents were not able to support the children properly and did not think they could do it at all. That Nelson was not the father of the two apprenticed children - That Almedia had four other children, some of which are claimed by Nelson as his -
