Before the undersigned came J.M. Thigpen who being Sworn in oath says. that he was present when a contract was made between Dr Job Thigpen and Henry Thigpen on the 27’ of Decr. 1866. that the agreement was prefected all to Reducing the same to writing. that on the 16th day of Jany 1866 the contract was Reduced in writing and signed by the parties in the presence of G.W. Thigpen and G.W. Peoples and approved by T.W. Mostyn on the 16th day of Jany 1866
That at the time [[strikethrough]] the time [[/strikethrough]] the first contract was made Henry Thigpen was confirmed in the County Jail of Lowndes County, and aff'ant further states that herewith Dr. Job Thigpen gave Bond for the Release of the Negro Boy Henry, which Bond was Executed on the same day the contract [[strikethrough]] was Reduced in writing signed and approved [[/strikethrough]] was made Dec 27 1866
