General Colonel, I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter dated April 10th, inst. in accordance of which I notified Mr. Abrahams at once. Mr. Abrahams has shown me however documents from the owners of the land, who permit him to have the Buildings on said land; I am satisfied that the documents shown to me were genuine; I therefore have postponed any further action, till I heare from you again. - Respecting the furniture, they consist of (1) one sofa, (2) large leather cushioned arm chairs, (2) two marble slap tables, and (1) one small looking glass, of which as I already informed you Major Kochere took with him
