By the withdrawal of our present troops here, I will also loose several clerks; I would require at least one issuing Clerk and take the liberty to recommend Private "William Wagner" of Company E 178 N. Y. Vols who will be mustered out in a few days. At the colony of Garland a responsible man should be sent immediately and I most cheerfully recommend "Mr. W. Mostyn", who had been acting several months as Asst Supt of this place. However these are only suggestions, it will be for you to make the neccesary appointments. — Respecting the future arrangements for issuing Rations &c. I expect to hear from you at an early day.
