During her residence in New York Mrs. Beuners died and Isaac N. Beuners her nephew sold this property to to Edw'd Richardson a colored man (who now claims to own under that title) for $110- Richardson having been in possession over seven years under color of title & claiming to have purchased in good faith cannot be evicted, and Pomenas only remedy is against Beuners. The deed of Beuners & Richardson bears date Sept. 17 1858. The complainant is aged & infirm & has no other property than this house & lot which are worth much more than they were before the war. I would respectfully request that this matter may have early attention and will furnish any information that may be desired.
