The guard sent my me returned last eve. - on their arrival at the estate the sheriffs guard left the place, as Mr Mosely said they would do.

I shall send Mr Mosely by mail, today, a copy of the clause in your communication saying that if the parties holding the claims will settle with the freedmen in a satisfactory manner, the interference of the military will cease.

M. Gardner will go to Perry County to see in regard to the matter this afternoon train.

The Freedmen on the "School Lot", so called, remain as before the sale. no action having been taken in the matter by anyone.
