Said Samuel Strudwick reserving to himself the right to designate the hogs to be fattened for slaughter, which hogs are to be fattened from the proceeds of this farm before dividing the crop.
The parties of the second part bind themselves to faithfully perform such work as may be required of them, in the house or farm or elsewhere during this year, under the regulations heretofore governing the place. They further bind themselves to cheerfully obey all orders issued by said Samuel Strudwick or his authorized agent and any disobedience to such orders or any insolence to any member of the white family, male or female shall be a sufficient ground for a discharge from service, and such discharge or a voluntary abandonment of service before the first of January next shall be a forfeiture of all [[?]] wages due him or them either in clothes or any other compensation. And it is understood that the said parties of the second part are not to leave their homes or encourage other persons not belonging to the place to visit them without the consent of said Samuel Strudwick or his Superintendent. And while the said Samuel Strudwick does not desire to interfere with or control the religious exercises of said parties of second part, it is understood that all meetings for that or any other purposes shall be restricted to regular hours and shall not continue to later than nine o clock at night. 
The lost time from sickness or any other cause by the laborers aforesaid shall be taken
