is this not wrong when it can be remided [[remedied]]. I appeal to you in behalf of the suffering poor to remedy this in order that the supplies may be appropriated to the object contemplated by the government. All of the counties on the R. Road get their their supplies delivered by the government free of charge, & the poor counties in the interior are compelled to loose at least one third or more of their supplies for the want of means to pay expenses. Could you not have the supplies for Marshall Blount & De Kalb shipped to Guntersville on the expense of the Govmt. if so whilst I am here I will hire myself to have it stored & delivered at one fifth or less of the charges at Decatur, merely paying for a house & a hand to assist I would charge nothing myself. let me hear from you
