The Bureau in this state is an extensive intelligence office, finding homes for freed people, and laborers for employers. I have been, to a limited extent, giving transportation to freed people going to the valley of the Mississippi, where they are getting excellent wages: but 
I have stopped sending freed people out of the state. 
I cannot only take care of all I have, but can very likely provide for those you may have to spare in other States.
