Marietta Ga. October 13, 1866. Sir, I have the honor to enclose you the papers in regard to the case of Jackson Easley. I had an interview with his parson the Rev. Mr. Strickland who informed me that the statement was correct. Jackson is a hardworking industrious man, and capable of taking care of his family. He wants transportation to De Kalb County, Alabama, for one, from here; and transportation for five from there to Marietta. I have the honor to be respectfully, Your Obt St, Lieut.
