I hope to hear from Mr. Mitchell, who had been summoned to the spot by telegraph & who may write you in the subject.  You may remember that our prominent gentlemen here regard him as every way reliable. -

In the telegram in the Newspapers the house is spoken of as built by the Pa. Freedmen's Relief Ass'n." of Philad.- This is a mistake - It belonged to our ass'n. - We were cooperating in the good work & Mr. Mitchell was superintendent for both associations.
