P.S. The transportation you promised to send the seven freedmen (that formerly belonged to me) at Tuskegee Ala to the Care of C. A. Morse he writes me has never been sent. He writes that the reason given is that the freedmen are able to make a living in Ala.. This fact I informed you of at the time, but told you that Maj. Genl A J
