Stevenson, 3rd Mon 1st 1866.

To F. J. Mitchell

Respd friend,

I had this letter to Jno. B. Callis written this morning; but I omitted putting it in the envelope; hence I now inclose it to thee by mail. I have copied the letter; and as I have to send a school Report for last month, to Jno. B. Callis, I will inclose the copy of the letter to him; but if it is satisfactory to thee, perhaps it would be well to forward this also to him, with thy endorsement upon it; and accompanying remarks.-

Very resply, thy friend-

Wilmer Walton.

P.S. Please attend to this matter as soon as convenient; for many poor families around here, are both greatly needing and deserving Rations at this time.

W. W.
