Genl Wagner Swayne

Dear Sir
I wrote you some time since in reference to the freedmen, in your answer you did not post me up as fully as I desired, you stated that the Parent had entire control of his children under age, which is all right. In certain cases when the child is doing well would it be proper to remove the child when the Parent wants the services of the child for the purposes of converting the proceeds of the childs labor for his own benefit without caring whether the child is clothed and fed or not.

I the next place has a man the right to marry a woman and take her away from her employer who is under contract without compensating said employer

In the next place I have a great many complaints made against the last years
