Additional log buildings, if required would be wholly erected by the inmates of the colony there being abundance of materials on the place suitable for that purpose.

The Baptist College building can not be obtained a proposition having been made to sell it to the state for an agricultural college. 
The expense of the necessary buildings and repairs to render the places suitable for hospital purposes, would be about in the following property Garretts land $800.00 County property $1200.00 Bailey Place $400.00 Baptiste Building $2500.00 The other requirements would be a four mule team, and an ambulance - or extra horse - for the use of the surgeon in charge. 

In any lease, or other agreement to be made I would sugest that a clause be inserted that the United States reserves the right to move, or otherwise dispose of all frame buildings erected at its expence.
