Magistrates have shown a disposition to inforce the laws impartially.

The demand for assistance is greatly decreasing from the first of July up to the 20th there was quite a pressing demand, and I have issd to the extream destitute during this month so far, about four hundred Bushels of Corn, a full Rep't of which I will make to Capt. Arthur on the first of August.  I do not think of anything more of interest to speak of, as Mr. Buckley was here a few days since, he will report all concerning the schools. All of which is respectfully submitted
