This state of facts will show a very large deficiency, and I have given a receipt for many more pounds than I have delivered to the county agent, it would have the appearance that I have stolen or appropriated the balance, when I have really never handled or received a sack in my possession, but the corn has been delivered by the Government Agent to the county agents.
