Office Sub Asst. Comr Bureau R.F.&A.L.
Huntsville Ala. July 31st 1867

O.D. Kinsman
Sub. Asst. Commissioner
Montgomery, Ala.

Sir-
I have the honor to transmit herewith my Reports, Accounts &c for the month of July 1867. I sent them altogether by Express, in order to save extra charges. You will much oblige by seeing that the different packages are handed to the persons indicated thereon, in pencil.

My report of issues of corn for this month is not as yet ready to forward, for the reason that some of the County Agents have not yet sent in their reports. I will however endevor to have them reach Montgomery by the 10th of August.

I enclose herewith oath of office, of Clerks and Agents, whoes names, appear on the receipt roll for this month, thinking that Circular No. 24, War Dept. recently received, contemplates that they should be int he hands of the Asst. Comr. before further payments could be made.

Very Respectfully
Your obedient servant
Jm P. Callis
Bt. Brig. Genl and
Sub. Asst. Comr.
