I have closely watched the progress of things since the war in this part of Ala, Loyal men are at a discount here. The freedmen have no protection here adequate to their wants. athe man who acted as agent of the freedmans bureau was a staunch rebel during the war, and since the expiration of of that Office he has sent in his petition to the war
