consequent danger attending the removal of these cases, seem to indicate that some arrangement should be made to have them cared for in the city.

The subject of the transfer of our hospital and colony to the county has been laid before the County Commissioners, and, in the event of their refusal, will be brought before the mayor and the Hospital Committee of the Board of Aldermen of the city.

But, in the event of no arrangement being feasable, in time, am I at liberty to contract with a physician for the coming month to attend fever patients.  It will be impracticable to move them to a point four miles distant from the place where they may be seized with the disease, and it may occur that the civil authorities will decline to provide for the colored sick.
