to take charge of the Institution.  So far as I can ascertain, Mr Smith is recognized as a thoroughly loyal man and it is believed he will do justice to those under his charge.
It was also stated that the County Commissioners desire to continue the institution exactly as it now stands with all of its force, Surgeon, Employees &c. if they desire to remain, until Nov. 1st, when it is intended to remove to suitable accommodations adjoining the County Poor House.
The Commissioners state their readiness to assume charge immediately upon the order of the Bvt. Maj. Genl. Commanding.
