for, I have the honor to recommend that Dr. Gray under his contract may be permitted to remain until Nov. 1st, at his present station.  I think this is necessary to enable the civil authorities to understand the present approved system which they and we desire should be continued unchanged. 

Rent of buildings, pay of employees, and all other expenses, expectations, the county will assume on the 1st day of October, or at once upon receipt of the order of transfer.

mr. G.L. Smith, superintendant, of the county Poor has been designated to receipt for supplies, hosptial stores, etc.
