Office Sub. Asst. Coms.
Bureau R.F. and A.L
Mobile Ala Oct. 10, 1867

O.D. Kinsman
Sub. Asst. Coms.
Sir,
In answer to yours of the 7th I have the honor to report that for the convenience of all concerned, I have established the Bureau office in one of the vacant buildings at the old camp on Government Street and given up the room on the wharf previously occupied.

I have rented a stable at fifteen dollars a month of Amos Towle in place of the stall at a public stable heretofore hired. I propose if it can be arranged, to rent an office of Mr. Towle, when necessary to vacate this place.

Very respectfully
Your obdt. servt.
