Mobile County. }

The following is a true and correct copy of an order of said Court made at a meeting held on the twenty-ninth day of October 1867, to wit:
 
"The President stated to the court he had called this meeting for the purpose of submitting to the court for its action a letter, addressed to the Court by Captain James Gillette, of the 15th U.S. Inty. Sub. Asst. Comr. &c under date of the 23rd inst. enclosing a copy of a letter from Head Qrs. District of Alabama Bur. of R. F. and A. L. dated 22d inst. and also a copy of special order No. 65, current series, dated 21 inst. all in reference to the transfer of the Freedman's Hospital at Dog River to the civil authorities of the County, and the same having been read to and fully considered by the Court. It is ordered that the requirements of the Military Authorities in reference to the treatment of the inmates of said institutions be complied with by this Court, so far as the same may be practicable.
