I have the honor to reply to your communication of the 1st relative to the number of patients treated by me for Yellow Fever during the months of Sept and Oct 1867.

Soldiers 15th U.S.I.  18.  died 3  16 per ct
Seamen (White)  27.  died 4  14 per ct
Seamen Blacks,  2. died 4
Quartermaster Employee  1  died 1
Comd Officer  1  died 1
Q.M. Clerks  2. died 1

The above is the number tended by me that were connected with the Government, I would mention that two of the Seamen were in articulo mortis when admitted At this time I have under treatment Six patients for Yellow Fever,
