Livingston, Alabama Dec 19, 1867 General Wager Swayne Montgomery, Alabama General: The undersigned, most respectfully, submit the following statement of fact, and appeal to you for redress. 1 On the 10th day of February 1866, James B. Cecil, Thos L. Bevill and Davis S. Miller, Partners, under the name and style of Cecil, Bevill, & Miller, executed a Deed of Trust to John H. Gary, as Trustee, for the benefit of John C. Phares, which Deed is herewith exhibited, and prayed to be made a part of this Petition. 2 One the 9th day of April, 1867, one Tobias Lane having succeeded to the interest of David S. Miller, in the said firm, James B. Cecil, Thos L Bevill and Tobias Lane, Partners under the name of Cecil, Bevill & Lane made another deed of Trust to John H. Gary, as trustee, for the benefit of John C. Phares, which deed is herewith exhibited and prayed to be taken as a part of this Petition.
