on the 7th day of Dec. 1867 made to the Probate Judge of said county; which applications, together with the order made there under, is herewith exhibited and prayed to be taken as a part of this Petition, by 
9 James W. Mourrette, the special coroner appointed by said order, levied the said attachments, duly issued by the clerk of the circuit-court of said county, upon the property of said Cecil, Bevill & Lane, as well as upon the individual property of said partners

10 The said J.W. Mourrette, having in pursuance of said authority, levied said attachments upon said property, did not remove it from said premises, but placed it in the possession and charge of agents, selected by him, and said agents have remained in possession of said goods & effects. 

11 Maj. C.W. Pierce has intervened in said matters, and forbidden the execution of said attachments, whereby great damage will be done to the Plaintiffs, in said attachments. 

The purpose of this Petition is, respectfully, to ask that the said Maj. Pierce, his officers and agents, be restrained and forbidden to proceed any farther, would
