he committed an error in issuing the warrants for Ben and  Eliza on the Complaint made by Mr G.W. Chambers; that according to the facts Ben and Eliza were only liable in a Civil Action for breach of Contract, and not liable to a Criminal prosecution. I have so informed Mr. G.W. Chambers and Mr. Moore. And they have abandoned any further prosecution  of the case. Ben and Eliza will be no further troubled in this matter.

Henderson was carried to Mr. Chambers' at his own request, made because his father was living there.

This report has been delayed to enable me to know certainly whether Mr. Lavender received my letter. I have today ascertained that he got it soon after it was sent.

Mr. Gordon, Judge of the County Court of this County, is gratified that the action of his Court in the cases of Flanagan and Taylor Skinner is satisfactory. It will afford him pleasure to make your acquaintance.
