only that he may send them to school for two years. He has a wife + children of his own in fact a large family, but he seems very much concerned for these two children. He is hard working + industrious + is able to perform what he says he will do and I have no doubt that his object in procuring the children is to have them educated. Now I can do nothing for him in the regular Courts of law as the mother is clearly entitled to them under the law, but I wish to know if you would interpose your authority for the benefit of the children that they may obtain two years schooling. The children if they remain with the mother will doubtless grow up in ignorance as the mother I am informed is wholly worthless. Please write me on the subject.
