I have the honor to make the following statement. - Marsh of this place complains that in the year '65 the Probate Judge of Lowndes Co. in this State apprenticed his son Ephraim Marsh to Mr. William Marsh, now living in Dallas Co., without his (the father's) knowledge or consent. He says that he is capable of providing for, and educating, his son.

Desiring to raise his own child, he respectfully [[strikethrough]] requests [[/strikethrough]] asks the Cancellation of the Indenture, as provided for by G.O. No. 3 from Hd. Qrs. Dist of Ala. and bearing date Apl. 16th 1867.
