I have a case in which I wish to have your advice. What to do with it, and it is this.
I have three negro children in my possession, and has had them from births. The oldest one a Boy about 16 years old, and 2 Little Girls, the youngest 5 years old and the Eldest about 7 years old, I told the Boy that I would take care of them all, feed and cloth for his services, which he consulted to do, until his Little Sisters get old enough to take care of them Selves. This I have been doing ever since the Surrender.
