Received, Greenville, July 25, 1866 from John Kingsbury the sum of three Hundred Dollar it being full payment for the purchase of a large Wooden Building situated in the town of Greenville, Butler County, Alabama, and District above mentioned, known as the late Confederate Ton-in-kind Warehouse, which I this day sold at public auction to the highest bidder at the Railroad Depot in the town of Greenville, under and by virtue of an order of sole issue by the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama on the 14th day of June A.D. 1866, and to me directed as [[?]] of said District, at which sale John Kingsbury became the purchaser he being the highest and best bidder for the sum of three Hundred Dollars, and I do hereby Convey to said John Kingsbury all right, title and interest in and to said Ton-in-Kind Warehouse, as I am by said order of said Court authorized to convey.
