have your report in to use in making out our report of issues for the District.

I telegraphed you tonight via Kingston & Rome of this shipment. You will find the Bill of Lading marked V.C. Farrentine Gadsden Georgia, when it should have been marked J. Edwards, however the goods are intended for your, DeKalb Co and you will receive them at Rome or Gadsden and issue them for DeKalb Co.

We shipped to Cherokee Co. via Rome Ga. the 1st of Feby, 17,528 rations and have never heard from them. We do not propose to ship supplies to any County that make no report of them, therefore we will ship no more to Cherokee unless the officials can satisfactorily account for their neglect to make reply to the communications already sent and properly account for the supplies furnished. We have received no report from you for Feby. issue. Some two weeks ago we also sent you through Capt Wilbur some communications. Let us hear from you promptly.

Respectfully
Your obdt. servt
